IS THE EXPO WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, both the Fieldhouse & Ravens' Nest are wheelchair accessible and the venue will provide ample space to move within these building. There are also accessible washrooms.

WHAT IS THE COST?
The 2025 Adapt Expo is FREE to attend! We are also offering FREE Parking (P5 Lot only).
​
DO WE HAVE TO STAY FOR THE WHOLE DAY?
Come and go as you please! Stay all day or just an hour or two, grab a coffee and a bite to eat, catch one (or all) of the presentations, watch or try out an adaptive sport in the Ravens' Nest the day is yours to explore! ​​​​

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Everyone! But may be most helpful for seniors or older adults looking for options to proactively age-in-place; individuals living with disabilities (all ages, abilities and neurodiversities!), those with mobility challenges or mobility-altering diseases; those looking to move to a more inclusive space, including co-housing, retirement or assisted living options; Caregivers (professional, family members & friends); and health care providers; Older adults or those living with PD and other illnesses who are looking to stay fit and active!

WHAT SAFETY MEASURES ARE IN PLACE?​

Layouts and plans will have been approved for safety and egress.

We are asking everyone to keep this a NO SCENT EVENT! We respectfully ask that you do not wear or bring any scented products to the event.

We have also asked all exhibitors/sponsors to NOT bring any balloons.​

Please do not attend if you are sick. We have asked the same of our exhibitors/sponsors.

WILL FOOD OR DRINK BE AVAILABLE?
Yes! The Adapt Expo/OIPSE will have FREE Starbucks Coffee & Tea thanks to our sponsors!
In addition, Tim Hortons and Subway will be open on Saturday May 31st with food & drink for purchase! Located in Alumni Hall/Ravens' Nest.

WHAT IS THE SENSORY-FRIENDLY HOUR?
From 10am-10:45am, we will aim to provide a welcoming environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities or severe immune compromise; who would benefit from limited crowds, reduced noise levels & stimulating activity. As there are limited tickets for this portion - we are asking you and your family members to register in advance.

REGULATION STATIONS
Flow Recreation Therapy will have a "regulation station" available to all attendees/exhibitors. This will be a designated calm space where individuals can use various sensory tools & stations.
Ability Hive will also have some amazing sensory kits at their booth for purchase.

SERVICE ANIMALS
Service animals are always welcomed! There's nothing more we'd love to do than cuddle your fur babies, but we ask that non-service pets stay at home. There will be direct access to outdoors from the Fieldhouse - as well as a separate, quiet room indoors, if needed for a moment.

WILL PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKERS BE AVAILABLE?
Whimble has generously offered the services of a personal care attendant to support any guests who require assistance with Activities of Daily Living. Please don’t hesitate to contact them directly at hello@whimble.ca to learn more.

WHERE ARE THE PRESENTATIONS TAKING PLACE?
